Global Crown Capital Launches Nanotechnology Hedge Fund

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif – March 7, 2006 – Global Crown Capital, LLC ("GCC"), a full-service boutique investment firm, today announced the launch of the industry’s first nanotechnology hedge fund and venture fund in the US. The fund is aptly named ‘The First Nanotechnology Fund’ ("FNF") and is designed to serve as an investment tool for accredited investors to capitalize on the growth – both short and long term - in companies in a broad range of industries (including Healthcare, Drug Development, Defense, Chemical and Electronics) involved in activities commonly referred to as Nanotechnology.

The primary focus of FNF is to invest in public nanotechnology companies worldwide, across a broad range of industries and economic sectors, in order to maximize potential returns and reduce volatility. FNF will deploy a long-short strategy. The companies traded in the hedge fund will be supported by fundamental research and technical analysis developed by GCC’s All-Star Analyst team.

Rani Jarkas, Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of Global Crown Capital said, "most investors are aware that nanotechnology poses a significant investment opportunity, but they don’t know how to evaluate it or how to get involved. That combined with the fact that there is little credible investment advice available on the Street or few suitable products makes this a very challenging arena for professional investors."

FNF was created because investors are looking for investment vehicles that will allow them to invest in the growing nanotechnology industry. "Through GCC’s technical expertise and market knowledge, FNF has the unique capability of identifying the most promising and least promising companies and deploying long and short strategies respectively," added Mr. Jarkas.

FNF will also invest in private, commercially promising nanotechnology companies with proven management teams, innovative and proprietary technologies and the potential for significant medium-term returns.

FNF expands GCC presence in the nanotechnology investment community. GCC currently provides the only systematic, proprietary coverage of nanotechnology public equities worldwide and has developed a pure-play nanotechnology index to be used as a benchmark by professional investors.
